   * Or at least be out of commission for 40 days of the warranty period
   * Your vehicle must be under a year old
   * Your vehicle must be under warranty. As is vehicles are not covered
   * Your vehicle must have been purchased in the state of Nebraska
   * Motor homes and trailers are not covered under Nebraska lemon law

When is it a Lemon?

   * If your vehicle has been brought in for repairs four times with no end result in sight for the same problem
   * It is out of service for at least 40 days
   * You have made no unauthorized modifications to the vehicle
